"forte forte loves amourrina"
our special collaboration
We took forte_forte on a journey to discover our favourite thousand–year–old tradition
Murano is precisely where the venetian art of glass making is practiced.
Using a particular and time–honored technique, artisans shape the glass by hand into authentic venetian murrina rods, which are then cut into small cross–sections to form the sihgnature Amourrina glass beads characterized by their perfect and delicate transparency and unique shape.
A shared vision of supporting Italian craftsmanship and celebrating the Venetian cultural heritage has thus brought together Giada Forte and Elisa Evangelisti, culminating in the creation of this unique capsule, where every single bead is rigorously handcrafted by Amourrina Venetian master glassmakers.
In 2020, the art of murano glass bead making was added to unesco’s list of intangible cultural heritage.

Amourrina beads are made using historic techniques that are unique to murano.
we believe that keeping these practices alive is essential to preserving murano’s cultural heritage and protecting its local skills.
Culture informs our very being and shapes our identity. making culture central to policies is the only way to ensure that development is human–centered, inclusive and equitable. Cultural heritage, both physical and intellectual, and creativity are resources that must be protected and promoted with the utmost attention and respect.

I love glass, it is a material that fascinates me and has always been a part of my life. It is a material that has great strength and yet, at the same time, it is fragile and delicate, both masculine and feminine. Glass can give color a vibrant appearance, while also imbuing it with a precious and sophisticated transparency.
It has always inspired forte_forte’s collections because it is part of my childhood: my mother always loved murano glassware and antique glass and she has handed this passion on to me. i vividly recall winter sundays spent with her as a child, browsing for glass in the antique markets and secret corners of Venice and Murano.
