In a panorama such as that of today, in which not only has the industry automated the production of objects, but artificial intelligence has also, to some extent, replicated human creative capacity, Amourrina is promoting a movement that is in continuity with the principles of William Morris'Arts & Crafts and the Vienna Secession, which see in the craftsman's gesture a unicum, an extraordinary and unrepeatable moment, wise even though always different, the product of knowledge handed down over the centuries, which is to be preserved and defended.
On the occasion of the 60th Venice Art Biennale, we decided to involve people active in the world of art, such as artists, gallerists, curators, and collectors, lending their faces for a shooting in favour of the Amourrina 'For Art Lovers' campaign, shot by photographer Cristina Spagnolo under the creative direction of Alessandra Cardone, which aims to support the savoir faire of the glassmasters’ precious heritage, we are at the risk of losing.

"Venetian beads are part of the Unesco World Heritage List, and Amourrina is a symbol of our love at first sight for murrine, the glasswork behind them, the hours of work and know-how that make these stones even more precious than gemstones," explains Elisa Evangelisti, Founder of Amourrina.
Amourrina launches the For Art Lovers capsule collection: a limited edition of eighty Amourrine beads made in Murano from vintage 1990s murrine with the iconic 'rosette' design and mounted on solid gold pendants.
"My desire is to contribute to enhancing and revitalising Venetian craftsmanship. Valuable is the time of the last artisans who carry out artistic crafts, just as incomparable is the result of their work, unique and unrepeatable, made to the highest standard. By protecting the work of artisans, Amourrina wishes to promote the preservation of Murano's artisan traditions, and thus support the well-being of local communities,' concludes Elisa Evangelisti.
A part of the proceeds from the sale of the For Art Lovers collection will be donated to the 'Comitato per la Salvaguardia dell'Arte delle Perle di Vetro Veneziane (CPVV)' (Committee for the Preservation of the Art of Venetian Glass Beads), which promoted and led the transnational Italy-France candidacy process for the inscription of the Art of the Glass Bead in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a recognition obtained in December 2020, and which is actively involved in the valorisation, transmission and preservation of the Art.
